Our Beekeeping Journey began in 1976, when we discovered a wild colony of honey bees in a tree that had to be felled due to disease. It was then that we fell in love with beekeeping, and our passion for these incredible creatures has only grown since.
All of our bees are descendants of that original wild honey bee colony, or they have been rescued from local swarms. We focus on gently raising our bees in our own apiary, ensuring they are healthy and thrive in their natural environment.
We offer a range of beekeeping solutions to support new and experienced beekeepers alike. Our special beginner hives are carefully crafted from Western Red Cedar, designed to make beekeeping more accessible and successful for newcomers. These hives include everything needed to get started, including extra frame space, a wooden Queen excluder, and other beginner-friendly features.
For those looking to jumpstart their beekeeping experience, we also provide hives with bees—fully assembled, ready to go, and supplied with a healthy brood box of bees. This unique offering allows customers to start their beekeeping journey immediately, often with the possibility of harvesting honey within the same season.
During the summer months, we offer a limited number of high-quality bee nucs for those looking to expand their apiaries. Our mission is to support beekeepers at every stage of their journey, and we also offer beekeeping courses that cover everything from beginner basics to more advanced techniques, ensuring you have the knowledge and support to succeed.
Join us in nurturing a sustainable and thriving future for bees and beekeepers alike!
